Caring Souls For Veterans is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization led by servant leaders committed to ending Veteran suicide by facilitating a seamless transition for military medics. We take pride in reintegrating medics into the civilian community and transforming organizations to better support their Veteran workforce. Our founder successfully navigated a suboptimal military transition experience and vowed she would work diligently to ensure medics smoothly reintegrate into their civilian lives.

Dr. Iesiah "Esha" Harris, PhD, RN

Dr. Esha Harris is a vital member of the Caring Souls for Veterans leadership team, bringing 26 years of dedicated military service and a wealth of experience to our initiatives. As the CEO and Founder and a recognized female Veteran Trailblazer, Dr. Harris is deeply committed to reducing Veteran suicide and empowering healthcare professionals during their transition to civilian life. Through her personal tribulations, Dr. Harris developed our signature program, Operation Rewire, which fosters psychological safety, allowing nurses to reconnect with their purpose and build resilience. Dr Harris's advocacy has transformed corporate cultures for thousands of Veterans resulting in emotionally resilient veterans and a 95% retention rate (45% higher than the national average) within the first year of employment. Her dedication to the Veteran community has resulted in several prestigious recognitions.
